Fashion at the Oscars

Last night was The Oscars and I unfortunately did not watch them.  I have seen very few of the movies up for nominations so I didn't feel like I had a HUGE reason to watch to see who won.  However, I DO LOVE the fashion!! I would watch the Red Carpet over and over just to see what the stars are wearing, what accessories they have on, and how fabulous their whole ensemble looks.

  

I put together my own little critique of last nights fashion choices:

Best Dress:

Emma Stone ROCKED it last night! At each award show she continues to amaze me.  I love the red dress on her...she pulls it off SO well!  This was definitely one of my top picks for the night.

Best Embellished Dress:

Jessica Chastain OWNED this dress.  Some people may not agree with all of the gold embellishment, but I think she worked it out.  

Best Dressed Winner:

Octavia Spencer looked GREAT in this dress.  She has really been working hard at her body and this dress really shows it off well!  I was really pleased to hear that she won best supporting actress.  I haven't seen THE HELP yet, but I hear nothing but great things about it.

Best Dressed and Cutest Couple:

 

This was a toss up for me.  Both couples looked AMAZING and even though I am not a huge fan of Braneglina, I think they both looked pretty hot!  

Most Disappointing:

These ladies usually own the red carpet...however, their dresses were at the top of my "disappointment" list.  Gwyenth's dress isn't ALL that bad it's the cape/draping part of it that I don't like.  And Natalie Portman just looks like Minnie Mouse or something...I am not a fan of her dress at all.  

Most Shocking Like:

Louise Roe wore this interesting dress that I surprising like.  The more and more I look at it in pictures it grows on me.  It looks sophisticated and elegant.  She pulled it off quite well.

That is my list of fashion opinions from the Red Carpet.
